I am not done yet!

My destiny... my fate...

"Everyone believes the world's greatest lie... that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That is the world's greatest lie." -Paulo Coelho

At the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Caroline you will find the the tombstone of Ruth Bell Graham. Her tombstone bore an unusual inscription:
"END OF CONSTRUCTION. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE."

I just loved this!! God is not done with us yet, please be patient!

The Bible says that "being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Phillipians 1:6
God planned our lives! and His plans are great :D
"For I know the plans I have for you, 'declares the Lord,' plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29.11

Being content

Resentment comes from looking at others; contentment comes from looking at God!  He is rich who is satisfied with what he has!
I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
Philippians 4:11
http://moneysavingmom.com/2012/07/how-im-learning-to-replace-whining-with-gratitude.html
“No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven." John 3.27- be content with what you got!

Contentment is a choice. So choose today to bloom where you’re planted. Choose to make the most of whatever situation you find yourself in. Choose to stop focusing on what you don’t have and start being thankful for the many blessings you do have.
Choosing contentment when the word tells you to strive for accomplishment!

GET YOUR "WANTER" FIXED - Contentment begins with having fewer wants.
And remember, no matter what difficulties you might be dealing with today, somebody else would love to be in your shoes.
"Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.
After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content." 1 Timothy 6:6-8
Until you make peace with who you are, you'll never be content with what you have! For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10
Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Fulfillment means to be completely satisfied! God is worthy more than any joy of this world! Nothing can fill the emptiness in your heart except God.
The greatest accomplishments you can have are contentment and contended relationship with God and other people.

Bringing Christ to the people

We don't need to bring people to Christ; we need to bring Christ to them." (Jonathan McKee)

To the weak I became as weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 1 Corinthians 9:22

If you have the opportunity to befriend non-Christians, focus on the things that will draw them close, not the things that will drive them away.

Be available! - who's going to tell your unsaved friends about Jesus?"
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"  Matthew 9:11
If we remove ourselves from those who need Jesus, we remove a lot of the opportunity they will have to meet Him. Count up your non-Christian friends. If you can do it on one hand, ask God for more.

When Jesus got baptized, he did with sinners, even though He had no sins to be wash away. Why? Because He wanted to identify with those He came to save. He came to seek and save the lost, so to the lost He went!
Take a Stand today!

Invitation to Salvation / Convite para a Salvação / Invitación a la Salvación

              THE INVITATION TO SALVATION
There is no more important question than the one asked by a Philippian jailer                    over two thousand years ago: "WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?" Acts 16:30
Jesus answered that question once and for all by taking the punishment for our                  sins upon Himself. We simply have to accept the free gift of salvation He offers.

How do we do that? Simply follow four easy steps for receiving Christ:
               1- Admit your need - I am a sinner
2- Be willing to turn from your sins and repent.
3 -Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
               4 - Pray a prayer like this:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. I repent from my sins. I invite you to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus name, amen!

"Yet to all who received him, those who believed in his name. he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12

Convido-o a entrar no meu coração e vida.

Juan 1:12

Baptism in the water

Baptism is a public demonstration of a personal commitment you've made to be a follower of Jesus Christ. Baptism is a symbol of our choice to have a new life and the immersion demonstrates the death and burial of our old ways. We publicly put down our marker as a follower of Jesus Christ.

UNITY among the believers

God has designed us humans with differences to make us need each other!
 albertoloraphotography
Romans 12:2-11 - Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function,  so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.  If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically.
Unity among believers comes from our union with Christ!

We can accomplish more together than we can alone.

How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony! Psalm 133:1

Can two people walk together without agreeing on the direction? Amos 3:3

Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. Matthew 23:8

I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. John 17:23

All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. Acts 4:32

Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all! Romans 12:16

So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. Romans 14:19

May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Romans 15:5

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. 1 Corinthians 1:10

When we bless the cup at the Lord’s Table, aren’t we sharing in the blood of Christ? And when we break the bread, aren’t we sharing in the body of Christ? And though we are many, we all eat from one loaf of bread, showing that we are one body. 1 Corinthians 10:16-17

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26-28

For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. Ephesians 2:14

He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. Ephesians 4:16

Above all, you must live as citizens of heaven, conducting yourselves in a manner worthy of the Good News about Christ. Then, whether I come and see you again or only hear about you, I will know that you are standing together with one spirit and one purpose, fighting together for the faith, which is the Good News. Philippians 1:27

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.  For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time. 1 Timothy 2:1-6

No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us. 1 John 4:12

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all. Ephesians 4:2-6

Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.  This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Philippians 2:1-5

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. Colossians 3:13-14
WE WILL STAND TOGETHER!
